    Win 10 - HP Laptop - HP Monitor Driver Incompatibility


    Hello All. Hoping you can help. I cannot afford to buy any new equipment at the moment. Been unemployed for 9 months. I have an HP Envy Touchscreen 17 laptop. I have an HP 2009m monitor. I have Windows 10. My graphics card is Intel HD Graphics 4600 - version 20.19.15.5058. Is there anything I can do to get this monitor to work with this laptop? Please and thank you.

    Greg, Thanks for the reply. Techwalla link: removed HP update step one; No startup program group step two;No HP listed step three.

    HP Support: No support for my HP laptop driver, same from AMD manufacturer.

    Your suggestion didn't help. Since HP had an NVIDIA driver update on their website as opposed to the NVIDIA website which were not compatible. I tried both W8 and W10 packages. So trying to re-install the driver update that was provided by HP again, which
    I already had on my laptop and second monitor still didn't work.
