Windows 10: Win 10 install doesn't recognize nvme drive

HiI'm trying to install Win10, but the installer still doesn't detect my disk. I've tried this method, but the 'list disk' doesn't return the disk. I can only see the 28GB partition created on the pendrive. I also disabled the CMS in BIOS. Windows 11 install process not recognizing NVMe drive

Dear Support team,

I have installed a new computer with a Samsung 980PRO Nvme drive. The drive is recognized in the UEFI bios.

When I launch the Window11 installer there is no driver available to continue installation. In the Command Line

window I have set the Nvme drive with diskpart to MBR. But still the drive is not shown to the Windows installation

program.

I looked to find drivers, took those of the Intel website for Nvme/Windows 11, but they are not compatible,

the Windows 11 does not accept them. I couldn't find anything about Drivers for Samsung Nvmes on the

Samsung website.

Do you have any suggestions what I can do to get this working?

Will I lose dual-booting if I clone HDD to NVMe using Macrium?

NavyLCDR - interesting suggestion - connect the NVMe drive before running the steps in the amazing article I linked to? Just to see that the 7010 (in each of Win 10 and Win 7 booting from the HDD) recognizes the NVMe for storage purposes, and that therefore each Win has the drivers for the Samsung NVMe? I like it.

 

CD-ROM doesn`t work with win 10

After I installed Win 10 my CD ROM doesn`t work any longer. Does somebody have an solution?
