Windows 10: Win. 10 installer asks for drivers but can't recognize them.

Having given up on a Linux OS I tried to reinstall Win. 10 with an ISO used successfully a few months earlier to reinstall Win. 10; this time a message came up about missing an unspecified Media driver. I found the likely one and put it on another flash drive; it didn't show up in the installer option to browse etc. so I extracted it's contents - to no effect; so a backup Windows installer was and presumably is of no value since some drivers may be missing somewhere and can't be recognized even thought they've been downloaded from the manufacturer of the device!

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

In order to assist you better, I would like to ask if you get any error message.

I suggest you to run the Hardware Troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “troubleshooting” in search box and type Enter.
• Click on View All on top left corner.
• Select Hardware from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Also, would suggest to remove the external USB devices and uninstall them. Reconnect the USB devices and let it install the drivers software and check for the outcome.
