Win 10 keeps saying there's a problem with my account and password might have been changed.

If I ignore it nothing happens but if I follow link and re enter password I started computer with it's quite happy till next re boot. Nothing desperate but quite irritating as it happens on every boot at the moment.

  2. account password change

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your response.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Which version of Windows 10 is currently installed in your computer?

    2. Are you using a Microsoft Account to log into your computer?

To open System Properties and check the version of Windows, follow the steps below:

    1. Open Run Command (Windows button+R).

    2. In the dialog box type control system and hit enter.

If you are using a Microsoft Account to log into your system and you are unable to change the password, then I would suggest that you sign in online and change your password. Follow the steps below to do so.

    • 1. Click on the link below to open the Microsoft site, and then select
      Security & privacy.
Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

    • Select Change password.

    • Enter your current password, then the new password you want, then enter the new password again.

    • Select Save.
    Hope this information helps.

Password of windows 10 changed to older one

    Hi Sedorikku,

If you are using a Microsoft account as your sign-in credentials, the changes that you are making on your Microsoft account information will be synced to your Windows 10 device. If you changed the password for your Microsoft account, the changes will also
    be applied to your computer.

Automatically changing the password is one of the limitations of Microsoft account. Here in Microsoft, we value the data and information security of our customer. Because of this, we highly suggest that you reset your account's password. It will be best
if you'll enable the two-step verification on your account for additional account security. You can use these links as a reference:
