Windows 10: Win 10 machines not seeiing all computers on network

Win 10 machines are not seeing all computers on network.

I have double checked and triple checked all network connections even had a support session with Microsoft tech and I was esculated to level 2 support but no one ever contacted me back as promised.

Some win 10 machines can see and share files with my Xp machines. But not all win 10 machines can see other Win 10 machines on network. But All machines and access 1 XP machine. CRAZY!!!!

It makes no sense that some can and some cannot.

Again I have set and re set networking paramaters on all machines several times to no avail

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Thank you. Troubleshooter did not work. I ran all the listed commands in order and that also did not work.

None of the Windows 10 computers on my home network are on the network list of the Win 7 computer but the Lan connected windows 10 computer does show up on the Windows 7 computer network map.

Any other fixes suggestions would be appreciated?

 

Win 10 network with a vista computer

I had and still do have a network which includes a vista desktop, a win 10 laptop and a printer. When I open the network setting on the vista machine I can view the network but when I try to connect I get a messge that windows cannot access the win 10
computer, check the spelling of the Name./, otherwise there might be a problem with the network. When I had win 8.1 I had no problems with this setup. Running the troubleshooter is no help. Any suggestions?
