Windows 10: Win 10 may upgrade 2004 brake network shares

Hello Everyone!


I have a D-Link 320L NAS. After I upgraded win 10 with the may upgrade the network shares doesn't accessible anymore. Is there any idea what happened?


The NAS has a fix IP address, and it is in the same Workgroup than my computer. SMB1 is enabled, because it is an old NAS, and it is required if I want to use it. Interesting, when I type the IP address in the browser, I can login in the NAS. In the explorer, I can't mount, or remount my shares in the NAS.

If I enable the NFS under the NAS, I can reach the share. In this case there is some character encoding problem on the connected network drives.

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

Any suggestions for a fix?

 

Win 10 not accessing shares on the network

I have a problem that Win 10 Is not accessing any share on the network. Shared folders, File server drives are also not accessible. just error 0x80070035. I have tried almost every thing on the internet but unable to solve the problem.....please any suggestions
are highly appreciated.

I have win 7 system and I can access all the shares from win 7 even I can access win 10 share on win 7. But win 7 share is not accessible on win 10, actually no share is accessible on win 10. I have started the services DHCP client, FDPHost, FDResPub, SSDP
Discovery,UpNp host, TCP/IP NetBIOS, computer browser etc and many more.

 

Win 10 Network Printer Connection Problem

I have tried, when using the wifi from a Win 7 computer to connect to the printer connected to it. Others can connect.

I did do the three steps outlined:

• Open File Explorer. Pick the "Network" icon from the left pane (navigation pane) of the file explorer UI.
• If sharing is turned off you will see a pale yellow line towards the top of the window that states "Network Discovery is turned off. Network computers and devices are not visible. Click to change...".
• Click this bar and select "Turn on network discovery and file sharing"

None of the suggestion worked.

I did notice that the PC I'm connecting to is 'Private' while I am listed as 'Public'.

• Can this be causing the problem?
• Are there other suggestions?

I need to be connected to use the other printer so work flow can not be disrupted and someone else needs to print the file for me.

I will be with this group again on Monday.
