Win 10 May Upgrade Install Failure

I’ve been working on this for 2 months without success. Too numerous to count “tricks” all have failed. I finally have managed to download the update to a flash drive but it will not install. Suggestions at this point?

    :)

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
    and got to point

    • UPGRADE this PC now
    • Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)
is hardware OK (Win 7) for an upgrade to windows 10 for this PC???

"Application Install install package failure!" while installing 13.9

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and MSI 6970 Lightning.

I was upgrading from 13.4 after I did a clean uninstall with AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

Doesn't say what installation failed in the install log. Everything in the log says Success but at the very bottom it says "Application Install: install package failure!" but doesn't say what failed to install.

I only install video drivers and no CCC.

The only thing I noticed is AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed in my programs list.

    Win 10 install failure

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community,

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps.

    • Press Windows + X and select Command Prompt( Admin).

    • In the command prompt window, type fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\. (This assumes that C: is the drive in which Windows 10 is installed. If Windows is installed on another drive, change the drive letter accordingly.)

    • Restart your computer.

    • Download and install the update again.
Let us know status of the issue, We will be glad to assist you.
