Windows 10: Win 10 - One or more network protocols are mission on this computer

This is going to be a half rant and for that I apologize hopefully you can understand my frustration when my pc stops working correctly because of a microsoft update.

I purchased a windows 10 key going from enterprise 7 to 10 home. I went through microsofts processes and made a bootable USB. I wanted to do a clean install to try to avoid problems (oh the irony) The windows 10 install went off without a hitch however now my internet (desktop computer) will not work. I am plagued with the error same as many others "One or more network protocols are missing on this computer".

I am completely baffled for all intents and purposes this is a completely brand new machine from a software perspective. There is no extra software on this baby at all and figuratively out of the box it doesnt work. I know it isnt my net as everything was fine before and is fine now on both wireless and wired from various other devices with the exception of my windows 10 device.

There have been lots of suggestions about settings and winsocks and so on. I want to start by saying I have tried every solution google threw at me and yet still no progress. At this point I have no idea what to do. From post creation dates with users having the same solution it seems this has been a microsoft issue for at least a month and still no solution. I really need some help here. I have always been a windows person and I dont want to switch to a mac for alot of reasons, but this to me is completely unacceptable. I have always put my wallet behind microsoft, but the fact that I have been 2 days without a working desktop out of the box from a software perspective is insulting. I refuse to spend any money on professional assistance for something that is so clearly a microsoft issue and has been for some time.

I created an account and made a post here in a last desperate effort before I give a big middle finger to microsoft, trash this baby and switch to mac.

One or more network protocols are missing on this computer...help!!

I have w10 and it connects fine to the internet on wifi or ethernet at my house. About 2 weeks ago every time it went to sleep when it came back on it said something about cant find network devices and my wifi woild be exed out. I would then turn my wifi switch
off and then back on and id be good to go. It still works but i just thought i would include this in case its part of the problem. So last week i came to my gorlfriends house and i cant connect from wifi or wired. She has dsl i have cable. I went home and
it works fine. I came back to her placebl today and i cant connect. I ran troubleshooter and it says my computer is missing network protocols. I tried everything on this site- Fix: One or More Network Protocols Are Missing - Appuals.com and nothing
worked. I also disconnected antivirus checked router firewall setting, switched to different bg,g,n modes. Disconected drivers, did a systwm restore. Also besiides the netsh winsock reset i did it with a netsh reset catalog and a netsh int ipv6 reset.log reset
int. I cant figure this out for the life of me please help

All of this has already been implemented - no success.

Having tried to make this work for two months, I am quite frankly fed up with Windows 10. This will be the third computer with Windows 10 installed that goes back to amazon.

 

Ranting allowed. Beating one's self up for something beyond your control is not allowed. It is not your computer that is the issue. The problem is that Windows 10 is still a Beta OS, that was pushed out as a RTM when it should not have been.
