Windows 10: Win 10 partition access denied

    Win 10 partition access denied


    So I added another SSD to my PC the other day booted up and all ok and I even started to install some games on it all ok.
    But all of a sudden my Local Drive D can't be accessed saying that Access is Denied and I don't have permission, I tried to navigate to sub folders in it and its ok and I even can start games that are installed in it but for some reason I can't access it directly.
    I can't change permission on it cause it won't let me even so I'm the Admin and the only user in this PC.
    I tried the Device Manager to uninstall the drive like what other people suggest but I couldn't find any unknown volumes.
    I tried to rename the partition but it won't let me saying the operation failed and that the disk management console view is not up-to-date or something.
    I tried to rename it useing MiniTool Partition Wizard it worked but I still couldn't access it.

    By installing Win10 Access denied to a partition

    Hello,
    I'm usualy using Win7 installed on a SSD (win7) and and a HDD for data.
    I start installing Win 10 on a new SSD (disconnect SSD win7 and connect instead). Win10 installed and work like a charm except access through Win Explorer to G: partition of the HDD. I've access denied (see image bellow).. When I get access through command prompt (see image bellow).

    Moreover, when I reconnect the SSD (Win7) and restart with, I've access to that G: partition *Rolleyes*Confused

    I'll appreciate any help

    Access Denied

    I tried. It says "access denied", same error. Anything that requires "administrator access" gives me this error. I only have one partition. Not working.

    Access denied to a partition

    I have a network with 3 computers, each running W10. On one machine I can acceess two of the partitions, but the third comes back with an access denied message. The partition is no encripted, and I have set the sharing parameters the same as the other
    two - permissions are set to allow all.

    Any ideas as to what I can do??
