Windows 10: Win 10 Pro - Current Build - Win Updates commence when I am in middle of work and Shuts Down PC

Hi, I am using WIN 10 Pro - Ver 22H2 - Build 19045-4651 Whilst I am in the middle of Work, Windows Update shus down my PC and cause me to lose un-saved work - NO Notification, as was previously, where I could intervene, which i used to have, until recent months.I have checked Settings and can see Nothing to Stop this Un-Warranted Nuisance Problem.What can I do to Prevent this Un-Authorised Shut Down of PC.

Updating Win 7 Pro to Win 10 using Build 10586 Question

I have updated my win 7 Pro to Win 10 using the Build 10586 a while ago, and then I ask my system to go back to my Win 7 Pro.

I was told that this will allow be to update back to Win 10 for free again.

Now, time as come for me to update to Win 10 Pro.

I was thinking of re-installing my original Win 7 Pro with a totally clean install. Will this kill my change of updating back to Win 10 Pro using my Build 10586????

The reason, I have a problem with my version of Win 7 Pro and I need to re-install it because the old version I have must have an issue where it reboots and restart only after shutting it down for a night.

Or do you think if I re-install my Win 10 Build 10586, that should be the same as a totally new install???

I would appreciate any suggestion you can provide!!!!!

Current version of Win 10 PC ?

I upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 pro in October. It now shows that I am running Windows 10 Pro 10.0.10240 Build 10240. Is this the latest build? If not, where do I get the latest upgrade/build. Nothing is being suggested when checking for updates except
for Windows Defender updates.

Partitioning or erase/format NTFS can be done during install[Win 10 Pro]? I want delete all data in ssd when adapt to new build...

Installing Win 10 Pro from usb flash drive is better than using an external usb 3 dvd writer & dvd with Win 10 Pro? the latter should boot from dvd... if set boot from usb? better use usb 2 or usb 3?
