Windows 10: Win 10 Pro desktop slideshow problems

Hello everyone!
I am having problems with the desktop wallpaper function. I want the slideshow to cycle through the many sub folders of the picture library at random. However, the old Win 7 feature to select all sub folders is missing. I researched this on the 'net and found that the problem is very common and quite old.
I tried most of the solutions with no effect. So I wanted to start a new thread to see if there's a new solution for this old problem.
If you choose to reply with an answer, please be advised I am not a computer wizard, rather a user with limited ability.

Windows 10 picking up data from my old laptop hard drive

There is a setting in Windows 10 which syncs settings etc between Win 10 computers, this is the most likely answer to why you're seeing the old desktop slideshow settings on the new pc.

Yep just discovered this finally upgraded from win 8.1 to 10 after staying away from 10 for a year to have them solve the bugs, what the ****... can't be that difficult to make it output on 2 screens?

Also there's another bug with the slideshow, if you do slideshow on a screen with 4k resolution there's a pixel error on the right side of the screen, the background picture from the desktop is showing on only 1 row of pixels in the corner, easily visible
if you have a bright background on your desktop and there's a dark image displaying on the slideshow.

Please fix the slideshow for dual monitor though, literally assign this to one of your coders and they'll have it fixed with 2 lines of code
