Windows 10: Win 10 Pro On 2 Home Computers - My Dell Can See My Gateway - My Gateway Can't See My Dell...

OK, they are both running the latest version of Win 10 Pro. They both belong to 'WORKGROUP' and are set up as 'Home' computers NOT 'Business' The Dell desktop, when I click on Network in Explorer, sees everything on my Gateway laptop.


On the other hand, my Gateway laptop sees nothing except my wireless router and my Firestick.


However, if I tpye '\\Dell\C' in Explorer my laptop connects to the Dell. My Gateway can also connect to the Dell's wired Canon printer using the '\\Dell\ printer address.


I just did a CLEAN install of Win 10 Pro on my Gateway and I was finally able to see the Dell in the Network folder in Explorer after doing the: 'Home not Business' setting and then a reboot.


I went to bed last night pleased that everything was working as it should. I woke up today and the Dell was no longer showing up in Network folder of the Gateway Laptop . I have repeated everything I did but to no avail.

I had this exact same issue with a Dell laptop which has an Intel wireless adapter.
