    win 10 randomly shuts down instead of sleeps lazy/convenient


    I've trawled the internet for a solution but no cigar. What happens is that I set the power options to monitor sleeps after 3 mins and computer after 15 mins. This does happen then after an indeterminate time just seems arbitrary it shuts down. This is important to me as I have a monitor at the end of my bed linked to the pc and watch stuff which will automatically go to sleep if I fall asleep and then in the morning I click on a remote mouse and it fires up. You know the score. However this is not happening and it shuts down but not completely as you don't have to sign in and it goes

    Computer Shutting Off Instead of Sleeping

    Since October (the October update, I think), my computer is shutting down instead of sleeping. Trouble shooter or other solutions I have found here not working. (Reason #465 I wish I could have control over these awful updates.)

    Suggestions?

    The reason why your Dell notebook shuts down instead of it going to sleep is because of the settings on your system. Kindly check this
