  1. Win 10 reinstall but multiple partitions that don't allow reinstall

I'm trying to reinstall Win10 from a Win10 USB stick I created when I built this PC. So the version of Win10 on the USB stick is out of date, but I assume will install and then be updated once installed. After I built this PC I didn't use it, thus forgot the login password. I followed a youtube video that showed a reset method that seemed pretty easy, but it erased the OS. That isn't a problem because there is nothing on the PC, it is unused. So I need to reinstall Win10. The problem is during the Windows Setup I am asked "Where do you want to install Windows?". I have 2 drives in the system, a hdd and a ssd, each with apparently 3 partitions. For one reason or another it seems windows won't install on any partition. Can't I just reformat one of the drives and install from scratch? How do I do so?

Drive 0 Partition 1 is 100.0 MB with 88.0 MB free Type System. ((too small to reinstall))

Drive 0 Partions 2 is 237.6 GB with 237.4 GB free Type Primary ((couldn't install.. check media drive, here is what happened 0x80300024. not very helpful))

Drive 0 Partition 3 is 823.0MB with 352.0 MB free Type OEM (Reserved)

Driuve 1 Partition 1 is 128.0 MB with 128.0 MB free Type MSR (Reserved)

Drive 1 Partition 2 is 1862.9 GB with 1862.7 GB free Type Primary

Drive 1 Partition 3: Q-drive is 1862.9 GB with 1862.7 GB free Type Primary ((I think this might be my CD-ROM))

I've tried formatting a couple of the partitions but no luck.

How do I proceed to get Win 10 installed?

    :)

[Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops! Win 10 reinstall but multiple partitions that don't allow reinstall
Below are links to the thread that I got the fix idea from, and the official MS support info page for KB3119142(from which I quoted the above).

  3. What is the simple method to Reinstall IE11?

You cannot uninstall or reinstall IE11 on Windows 10.

What specific problems are you having?

    New motherboard requires a reinstall?

i think as long as you deactivate the previous Key, it will allow you to reinstall it on the new MoBo....or you can wait until you've gotten through the install process, once in desktop Then enter the old key.....i THINK i have had success with that on win 10
