Windows 10: Win 10 Retail random activation request

Discus and support Win 10 Retail random activation request in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; @ ok, when the issue come up i report the issue.     I don't think so - I have blocked a bunch of stuff (including windows update) and not had a problem... I think the problem is MS server-side.

    Hmmmm... now that's unusual...

    We have a digital licence registered but without the server properties displaying it? Also no errors in event log?

    I'd suggest turn off firewall control and run command with slmgr /ato - it should produce an error at least then post a new report...

    Yep firewall must be turned on, 3rd-party apps (like Firewall Control) cause more problems than it's worth IMHO. Blocking telemetry, be it Google or MS needs to be carefully evaluated...

    I'd also be inclined to reset the Windows Firewall to default settings and be very careful what additional settings you might make with Firewall Control if you continue using it..

    after windows was activated i reactivated firewall control ......*Confused

    i find a strange thing

    - with nirsoft productkey app, under productkey->Product key was not found , but windows is total activated now....

    BTW: Do you really need Firewall Conrol? I saw some negative comments on Major Geeks site, particularly regarding it being quite aggressive...
