Windows 10: Win 10 sandbox - working with usb peripherals?

I have a programme for a USB device (Virtual com port for a car engine measuring tool) I'd like to run in the win10 sandbox. Would that work or does the sandbox cut communication to such peripherals? Thanks!

essential USB peripherals arenot detected by Win 10

My USB peripherals are not detected by Win10 including my "windows compatible", corded Logitech K200 keyboard and corded Logitech 500 mouse and without both a mouse and a keyboard I have not much use for win10. Luckily I only upgraded my Win 8.1, and have
kept my Win 7 intact, in which all usb peripherals work faultlessly, so the problem is
not with the hardware, but must somehow be with Win 10

Microsoft sandbox stoped working

Please be informed that our developer team is aware of the issues with Sandbox and is working on resolving it. We do not have an ETA as of now, however I encourage you to send a feedback to our developer team via
Feedback hub. As a suggestion you can try disabling and enabling
the sandbox to check if that works. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Control Panel.
   
2. Then click on all Control Panel Items.
   
3. Then click on Programs and features.
   
4. Then on the left hand side, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
5. Then uncheck the option: Windows Sandbox.
   
6. Then restart your computer.
   
7. After restart, please enable it and check if the sandbox is working.
   

Also make sure that you meet all the requirements for Windows Sandbox.

There is a possibility that the feature is corrupted or not set up properly. I would advise you to disable Windows Sandbox first and then enable it. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Control Panel.

5. Then uncheck the option: Windows Sandbox.
