Windows 10: Win 10 says :"you're not connected" but I am-

I Spent 20 hours with MS Support but the problem remain the same. several soltions suggested didn't work including reinsatllind W10, reset ip confgi, .....I tried 3 different wifi network adapters Broadcom, Realtek, IntelI got the "globe" icon instead of Wifi tray. I can access any website but MS Store or MS Update prompt : "it seems you are not connected"I think there is somewhere in a register ? a flag true false or a hex value that indiced in errr Windows 10, with a false status ? ¨lease, don't reply by saying : troubleshooter !!!!!!

Win 10 Network Printer Connection Problem

I have tried, when using the wifi from a Win 7 computer to connect to the printer connected to it. Others can connect.

I did do the three steps outlined:

• Open File Explorer. Pick the "Network" icon from the left pane (navigation pane) of the file explorer UI.
• If sharing is turned off you will see a pale yellow line towards the top of the window that states "Network Discovery is turned off. Network computers and devices are not visible. Click to change...".
• Click this bar and select "Turn on network discovery and file sharing"

None of the suggestion worked.

I did notice that the PC I'm connecting to is 'Private' while I am listed as 'Public'.

• Can this be causing the problem?
• Are there other suggestions?

I need to be connected to use the other printer so work flow can not be disrupted and someone else needs to print the file for me.

I will be with this group again on Monday.

After Win 10 upgrade no eternet connection


After upgrading my Inspiron 1545 from 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro, I do have a wirless connection, but no ethernet connection.....I have followed all the trouble shooting that Windows suggests but still no ethernet connection. It says No IpV4 or IPV6 connection. The drivers for the network card say it is operating , and drivers are up to date. I have 11 computers and decided to try 10 on my old Inspiron. Anybody have any suggestions ???

Meanwhile, I suggest you to Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows+X.
  
• 
  Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  and hit Enter.
