Windows 10: Win 10 shutdown causes hard drive failure for me.

Hi microsoft , Im a designer artist , i had a laptop with everything on my hdd drive , I handle my laptop to my work every day , i was disabled windows "shutting down anyway or cancel screen " to have a faster shutdown , after this latest update that i dont remember when it happens , that demon screen activates again , and today after i pressed shutdown and closed my laptop lid , it keeps my laptop on and causes my hard drive spinning until i reached home and all my data is corrupted right now plus my hard drive failure , whom im supposed to take my loss from ? why microsoft is doing this with us ? isn't a shutdown button means to turn off the damn pc ? sorry im angry right now

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

Thanks! We ran the Dell PSA Diagnostics which did indicate the hard drive test was unsuccessful. One suggestion made was to update drivers and firmware - I don't see how outdated ones would cause a hard drive failure, but is that possible?
