Windows 10: Win 10 still loses the top part of windows. When will a fix be provided?

The top part of the window of some apps disappears, requiring either switching to/from full screen or restarting the video driver to correct. My system has two monitors and it only happens on the primary. It's highly disruptive to have the occur constantly.It has been five years since this issue was reported. There is absolutely no reason for this to persist. The most commonly affected applications are all office products, file explorer, photo viewer, Edge, and Chrome. Win 10 desk top reply to FIX suggestion

Thank you\for the information I do not have a Desktop only a black screen so there is no Start either I did a work around did get to

I was able to run SFC /scannow

And errors were repaired

But it did not fix my problem

I did do a disc format and a reinstall that should fixed

And corruption

Any other ideas

Method 1: Perform System File Checker (SFC) scan.

System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

I have had several ideas but nothing has worked

maybe if I word the question more carefully

my PC has 2 hard drives one is Win 7 / Win 7 works

the other drive is Win 10

Win 10 boots up and everything looks normal

all the displays look correct, i.e. sign in my desk top

the problem in about 3 seconds the desk top screen goes black

I do ctrl alt delete and I get a normal screen and from Task manager

I go to Internet Explorer or Office or Outlook everything works

the screen display is normal - but no desk top - icons - start menu etc that part

is still all black

it seems that everything video is ok

Windows 10 USB boot

Hi there, am not a windows 10 expert. I have a pc in the bedroom on windows 10, I messed up the bootloader trying to fix the xp on that system.

System wont boot, trying to repair via win 10 usb installer.

Downloaded the media creation tool to install windows 10 installer on usb stick. Not compatible with a host of usb sticks I have. Tried the usb sticks that others use, but I think they use rufus; as the media creation tool by win 10 does not detect the usb stick.

So quick question, the win10 machine i am trying to repair the bootloader is a win7 upgraded to win10.
If i were to use the usb win10 installer to "repair installation" does the version of the iso downloaded via the media creation tool matter?

There is three options:
Windows 10
Windows 10 Home
Windows 10 N

Also is there a step by step instead of using rufus as I want to try an alternative method of creating a usb win 10 installer. Preferably with more compatibility.

System is a asus sabertooth 990 (r2?) with AMD phenom X 6.

Also is there any other software I can load onto the usb that can repair the bootloader easily?
