Windows 10: Win 10 suddenly won't open any programs

My desktop PC was on , and had been working OK, left it for a short while and when I came back to it, could not open any windows programs from the taskbar or start panel or desktopCould open Malwarebytes, ran a scan, no problems in terms of virus etc. and CoH game and File Explorer from taskbar. This would allow me to open some items like files, but not docs or photos in the filesJust tried to open msconfig, but nothing Would really appreciate some help please.Regards G

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

 

Win 10 all of a sudden open programs won`t minimise or maximise

Hi

I haven`t made any changes ..so probably a Windows update...previously with any running programs I could left click the icon in the taskbar and it would maximise and minimise...not now...also I can`t right click on desktop?? I also notice when I click on start I have these 3 `new` icons on top left of desktop...exted..pinned tiles..all apps...I never saw this before and it`s not on any of my other Win 10 pc`s (none of which have the issues described) Any suggestions gratefully received.
