    Win 10, Surface Pro 6 & "S"


    By accident, I Discovered my Windows Operating System on Surface Pro 6, carries a trailing "S" for surface. And it appears if I delete the S, any non-windows apps will fail (or be removed). True Yes/NO?


    Tried signing up for "TECH-NET", ASKED VERSION OF WINDOWS - MINE NOT LISTED DID NOT KNOW OF "S"

    Suggestion: Surface Pro 6 - smooth out adaptive brightness

    This has probably been discussed before, but I can't seem to find a suggestion box for Win 10. I like the idea of adaptive brightness, but the constant, noticeable adjustments are distracting. Is MS looking into smoothing the transitions, or is there a
    third party utility that will do it for me?
