    Win 10 taking 10 minutes to restat, programs not loading


    My desktop performance is so bad the machine is unusable. Restarts take 10 minutes,and it looks like something is being fixed, but it never is. Someone gave me a cmd fix a few months ago which helped, but I can't find the post.

    Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

    why does small win 10 update take so long..

    i have several devices i watch update the little phablet being one of them.. its now at 77% but i have tried restarting downloads often.. it never improves things just takes even longer cos it has to start at the begining again.. he he

    i am not talking about a this time one off.. i am talking every time.. which where win 10 is concerned is many times.. he he

    ps.. i do have a fast cable connection so it has nothing to do with my bandwidth..

    Yes, I agree. My BIOs are out of date and I know I can update them by putting the update file in my USB (I saw the setting in BIOs). But the thing is I'm having trouble figuring out which BIOS firmware I need.
