Windows 10: Win 10 Update wiped my Win 10 Pro and reinstated single language Chinese pack

I'm running a Huawei and had upgraded to Win 10 Pro to get English over the stock Chinese Win 10. I got a bunch of alerts saying my Win 10 version 1909 had expired, so I updated using the Win 10 Upgrade Assistant. Now it seems the Win 10 Pro has been stripped off and everything is back to Chinese. I can't locate the product key for the W10 pro I bought -- it wasn't in the confirmation email and for some reason MS shop conveniently doesn't show it in my purchases though I have the confirmation email. And I can't navigate the system because, well, it's all in Chinese. Help....

Win 10 home single language

Hello. Is an upgrade from win 10 home single language to win 10 Pro possible or have i do a clean install for Pro ?

 

Upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 Pro Single language and Win 8 Pro Single language.

I have windows 8.1 pro single language. Will I get windows 10 pro? While upgrading using ISO, the product was asked. But the product key of my current OS, which is legitimate, is not being
accepted. I would also like to know about the upgrade from Windows 8 Pro Single Language and
Win 8.1 Single language and to Win 10 pro. Please help.

 

how to change display language from Chinese to English in Win 10 ?

I purchased laptop in China which ran on Win 8.1 Chinese edition ~1 month ago. Now I am in US and want it be a English Windows edition.

I upgraded it to Win 10 home by the free upgrade. but unfortunately I had no chance to change the display language to English during the upgrade.

Even right now I have the English language installed in my Win 10, at the Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region -> Language, the "English (United States)Windows Display Language" shows "not applicable to this Windows edition".

I believe the reason is my original Win 8.1 is a single Chinese language edition and also per the FAQ Windows 10: "Cross language upgrades are not supported, the free upgrade will be installed in your local language".

Wanted to look for solutions and see if any of the below works:

1. Use 'Easy Upgrade' with $99 cost to upgrade my Win 10 home Chinese edition to Win 10 Pro Chinese edition, then I can choose the English (and any other) language. If this is correct and will work ?

2. a clean Win 10 home English install. use "media creation tool' to create a USB Windows 10 home installation media(select English when creating it).

the concern is if this clean Win 10 installation can recognize the existing Product key (which was upgraded to Win 10 Chinese edition ) ? and/or how to activate this newly installed Win 10 English edition ?
