Windows 10: Win 10 Updates - Lack There of ! ! !

Win 10 update service is the worst I've ever seen, buggy as all-get-out! I have clean install if Pro 64bit, I've done about (4) quick updates, with quick reboots, and its says I'm updated. I ran Ms update tool(s) which say I'm up to date. Ran the troubleshooter from control panel, found (6) problems and check each one green as fixed, and said there are pending updates for my system. Ran update again, found no updates. The info below looks no where near 1709? ? ?

I totally agree with Icemocha. This is getting ridiculous and stupid. Nokia produces a phone. Finds out it is a trash

and has defects only after selling the phone to thousands of people. Immediately releases a new model with an "i" at the end as all the defects are fixed. (Check 6280-6288, 6230-6230i for instance. And wants people to spend money on the other model.

Would you ever accept to buy a car with a broken engine, tyres flat and front shield cracked? Obviously not. So why should we accept the same thing for phones?

Wakre up people. And let's stand up for our consumer rights. If Nokia does not corret their attitude to loyal customers I can see people going and buying other brands more and more.

 

Windows 10 version 1709 is os build 16299. Run Winver to get the minor build number as well as the major number.

A clean install of 1709 starts at build 16299.15, with the latest update it's 16299.192. For more details of version history, see...
