Windows 10: Win 10 updates that throw away my 3rd party drivers

I use my notebook to program clients systems using USB2 devices. Notebook is USB3 and 3.1. Sometimes I travel far and internet access is non existent. I'm in Africa. Windows 10 update threw away my USB2 drivers and I had the embarrassment and hassle of not being able to do the work because you don't know until you connect the devices. I cant even check Device Manager every morning to see if Windows will still work with my equipment as the equipment must first be connected to show the problem. Should I rather just use an old notebook running Windows XP which never gave me these hassles?

Windows Mail and 3rd party messages

• May I know what exactly do you mean when you say "download messages from 3rd party into Windows Mail"?
• Are you referring to Mail app on Windows 10? If so, are you able to receive any send email via Mail app?

If you are facing issues with Mail app, I suggest
run the in-built Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows Key + X..
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  On the left pane, click on View All.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.

USB microphone using 3rd party driver

There was no option to delete the driver package but i uninstalled it any way and there was still no change





I believe this to be the case due to the headset using the default Microsoft driver, is there any way i could use a 3rd party driver as updating the driver with one I have found has not worked so far (probably due to the fact i have no knowledge with drivers)
, could you suggest a simple 3rd part USB headset driver that i will be able to update the Plantronics microphone with ?

 

Heads Up: Win 10 not recognizing 3rd party software registrations and interfering with passwords

I've got a number of 3rd party software apps that I can no longer use because the previous Win 7 registration or activations are no longer recognized after my Win 10 OS update. I can probably get this fixed next week from the software suppliers themselves,
even though it is a pain to have to contact and convince each individual developer that this is not a a new installation to a new PC or other device. I see that a number of other Win 10 updates have caused similar problems for other users.

A bigger problem for me is that Win 10 is interfering with some of my existing software to recognize my security passwords established with Win 7. When I enter the correct existing password, the software now yields a warning that I have entered an incorrect
password. Unfortunately it also fails to offer offer me the option to click on a "Forget Your Password" link or to reset a password.

This failure to recognize my accurate passwords did not only affect 3rd party software, but also my PC User Account passwords. It took some professional help help to overcome the User Account password interference, but the 3rd party passwords are still an
as-yet-unresolved set of problems. Any suggestions on how to get Win 10 out of the way here?

3rd party software developers may have not yet created a Win 10 compatible version of their app, so beware if you depend on the frequent use of such password-protected software and plan to upgrade to Win 10. On the other hand, I have no clue why Win 10 would
not accept my previous Win 7 User Account passwords.
