Windows 10: Win 10 Video Editor - some mp3 files cannot be added to video using custom audio

Hello,I've tried to add some mp3 audio files to my video in the Win 10 Video editor Photos app. Some of the mp3 tracks are working fine but some have the start and the end sliders stuck together on the video track bar red circle on the enclosed screenshot and they cannot be extended, so nothing plays in the video. However when hitting the play button on the audio track itself on the top right menu green circle on the enclosed screenshot, it plays the sound just fine. It just cannot be inserted to the video.I have read many complains about this problem here, but no working solution.I have

MP3 Files Not Recognized By Windows 10 When Adding To A Video Editor

MP3 Files Not Recognized By Windows 10 When Adding To A Video Editor

I am using the Kinderjoy Video Editor and Slideshow Maker from the Windows app store. As you can see in this screenshot, when I click on 'Add Music' it does not list any sound format files such as .wav or .mp3 despite the fact that the audio file is in that
folder. This has happened in about 2 other video editors I downloaded from the app store. This is the first time I have tried to use an editor from the app store.

 

Photos Video Editor wont add custom audio

Window's Photos Video Editor wont add custom audio. I get the error message below regardless of what mp3 file I am adding and regardless from where I am adding it from.

I am running Windows 10 Home version: 10.0.19044.
