Windows 10: Win 10 webcam black screen

Hi, with the number of users reporting the same black screen using so many different makes and models of computers, I feel no need to elaborate with what hardware I am using; and otherwise, as to who is at the keyboard, le's say that I consider myself the average bear given that I started at it with MS DOS in the years of PacMan. We are all living a pandemic that has made the webcam a must so as to keep in touch both professionally and with our dear ones and friends. Last night ther were 11 pages going to 12 of people reporting the same. When, and I mean which day which month is Microsoft going to give consideration to this annoyance and issue the update that will fix this ? Thanks for prioritizing this one.
