    Win 10 -> Win 11 Text/Font Issues


    Since updating to Windows 11 from Windows 10 I have a strange issue with text.It's hard to describe or even show on a picture/video but on the left side of my main display the text is just off, it looks like it is all set to be bold and in some applications it is really hard to make out the text. The right hand side of my screen is fine with no issues.I thought it was my monitor dying, but I've tried switching my second monitor to my main and the same thing happens.I've tried clean/fresh installs of the graphics driver which didn't resolve the issue, but I noticed that when there is no Nividia

    Switching from Win 10 to Win 11

    I suggest you do a drive image backup of your current win 10 drive.

    I had some issues with Win 11 and I roll back using the Win10 image.

    As you don't have a Win 11 supported CPU, you have to tweak the Win 11 installation files.

    Switching from Win 10 to Win 11

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be getting new MB and CPU when I move to Win11. And I always do system volume image backups after I successfully update Windows so no problem there *Smile.

    win 11 22h2 update printer issue

    Exactly the same issue as Win 10 print nightmare patch- I was able to browse to printer using ip on Win 10 but that doesn't work (permission issue?) on Win 11 home 22h2! The suggestion to reload windows is laughable as this happens right from brand new!
