Discus and support Win 10s mail app wont accept my Apple UD to activate my Apple email ac in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Gmail and Cabelvisions optonline configured flawlessly.     Win 10s mail app wont accept my Apple UD to activate my Apple email ac


    Gmail and Cabelvisions optonline configured flawlessly. Apple mail has not. Despite entering my Sppke ID, the Win Mail app keeps telling me my password is out of date. Win 10 allowed iCloud to be configured with the same Apple ID. (On Macs, Apple requires double authorization,, to activate iCloud, but this was not bec in Win10. Besides the fact Windows doesn’t do double authis)
    WHAT MUST I DO TO GET THE EMAIL ADDRESS WORKING. NEVER HAD THUS ORIB IN Win 7pro!

    No. The apps must be made for Windows, you cannot install anything made for any Apple products on a Windows PC.

    Apple's iTunes has a Windows version but that is then no longer an Apple app, it's a fully "Made for Windows" app based on an Apple app.

    Your email account settings are out of date


    If this is with a MS, Apple or Gmail account you have two-step/two-factor verification on it? If so you'll need an app specific password for the email account.
    I had that error message on my iCloud email account in Win 10 mail app & this cured it for me.
