Windows 10: Win 11 22H2 local account AWOL

Win 11, 22H2, Dell XPS15 though it doesn't matterI use my personal PC at work. I have always logged in locally to my PC. I also have a Microsoft account, which I use only when I want to access the store or MS's absurdly Byzantine online profile stuff. I also have a *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account for MS Teams that I'm forced to use at work the XXX in the preceding address.Trying to troubleshoot an Outlook account issue [which I'll post about elsewhere] I logged in to Windows with my Microsoft account. Now I can no longer log in locally - I cannot find any way at all to get the option back

Upgrade to Win 11 Pro from Win 10 Pro and keep local account

I've been running the Insider Release Preview of Windows 11 22H2 on some of my machines for a while now. The current latest build 22621.457 is pretty close to being ready to release. I have an ISO for that build and have just tested that. Yes, stay disconnected from the internet until install is finished and use the latest known workaround and you can still clean install Windows 11 22H2 and set it up with only a local account.

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)
