Win 11 bluetooth connection so bad headphones are unusable

Trying to play some video games but the Bluetooth connection is so bad I can't even use my headphones. The audio cuts out about 5 times per second.I've tried updating drivers, deleting drivers, removing Bluetooth and restarting so that windows reinstalls them, I've disabled all headphone audio enhancements...I don't know what else to do.Before it was choppy every now and then so it was tolerable but now it's so bad it's unusable. My PC isn't even that far from my headphones, probably around 3ft away

    :)

    bluetooth headphones

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

Windows Bluetooth headphones bad sound quality

    Notes:

I am using Bang & Olufsen bluetooth earbuds model Beoplay EX. When connected to Windows 11 the sound quality is absolutely atrocious.

    Things I have tried:

    1. disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth earbuds (forget and re-establish connection) - result: did not fix.
    2. looked into sound settings - unable to select between hands-free and stereo therefore does not affect sound quality, still awful
    3. use another device as microphone: does nothing

It seems as if Windows is using the driver for the hands-free mode rather than the headphone mode by default and there is not a way to change this thus resulting in awful sound quality thus making bluetooth headphones unusable.

Cannot connect to bluetooth headphones after upgrade to Win10

I upgraded my Lenovo W530 running Win7 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10. After the upgrade I can no longer connect to my bluetooth headphones which worked before the upgrade. The bluetooth radio is on. When I click Connect in the Action Center it shows that the headphones are connected but they are not. The headphones (actually my hearing aids) play a notification sound when a bluetooth connection is made and I never hear that sound. If I play music the sound goes to the speaker, not my headphones. I have removed the headphones and repaired them. I have checked that all of the bluetooth device drivers are up to date in Device Manager. I would really appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks.
