Windows 10: Win 11 computer freezes, screen shows colored blocks of pixels.

The last few months, my computer has been crashing more frequently. It typically occurs when I run a game, but is now happening outside of games.Typically, the screen looks like there are an overlay of rainbow blocks of pixels. This is sometimes the full screen, but sometimes on top of the content. Then the screen goes black. After that it either hangs for a minute or two and restarts on its own, or I have to power it down from the case switch.I have been looking at the system errors and trying to troubleshoot those, but nothing has worked yet.I can add more here, but reading these forums

My Computer keeps freezing

My computer keeps freezing and keeps showing red green and blue color pixels on my screen when it freezes whats causing this?

 

small pixel is showing off color on black screen ?

i m using dark theme on my lumia 620 its black and it has small spot pixel disturbed... its only showing on black screen otherwise its okay in all colors i see no pixel disturbed... help me out what caused this ?

Windows 11 Screen Freezes Random Pixel Patterns

Product:

- Dell XPS 15 9500

- Windows Version: Win 11 Home 21H2 22000.978 (KB5017328)

Recently the computer has been freezing a couple minutes after booting up. The screen freezes with a strange and seemingly random pattern overlaid (often red pixels interspersed over the screen, sometimes blocks of black with other blocks of static). Ctrl+Shift+Win+B, Esc, Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Alt+Tab, closing the lid (the screen doesn't power off at any angle), and any keyboard presses that are not holding the power button have no effect. The only way to get rid of it is to perform a hard shutdown via the power button, upon which, a few minutes after boot the error will return. While the screen is frozen, the fans are still running and the computer is still on; it just is not interactable in any way.

Attempted fixes:

- Changing screen resolution

- Updating graphics drivers

- Rolling back graphics drivers

- Updating Windows

- Running malware scans

I haven't been able to find this exact issue described anywhere else
