  1. Win 11 Consistent stopcode on ACX01000.sys after 28inch monitor is used.

For many years, and including on my Win10 Dell XPS13, I have used the QCD mp3 player, last version written in 2004 by Paul Quin, who is now a VP at Google. It works well, is still the best, but there will be no updates! There is however a consistent and reproducable stop code in Win 11 on my new Dell XPS13 Pro 9320 . If I start QCD from the laptop it works fine. And once it's started I can then plug in my 28inch ASUS monitor, and it goes on working. But if I start QCD with the big monitor plugged in and in operation, when QCD is started Win 11 green screens with a stop code Kmode exception no

I have recently been getting 'blue screen' on stopcode 'Attempted_write_to_readonly_memory' in emBDA64.sys. I've checked and I am fully up-to-date with Windows 10 updates. Can anyone please help. Thanks.

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

Win 11 Consistent stopcode on ACX01000.sys after 28inch monitor is used.

Windows 11 update gives problems: stopcode + failure to recognize external monitor + driver problems

My laptop automatically downloaded and installed Windows11, but this resulted in continuous computer crashes, a stopcode all the time, failure to recognize my external monitor and driver problems with at least the display drivers.

Starting up properly is not possible. This continuously results in the stopcode.

The one time I managed to actually get started up, I noticed my external monitor wasn't recognized anymore.

So, I went to Device Manager - display adapters and noticed a 'warning sign' at one of the drivers. The display driver for NVIDIA Gefore RTX 2070 was disappeared in the list, seemingly not recognized. I updated the (basic) display driver, and as a result Windows 11 was totally not working anymore, failed to start up, keeps giving a stop code and red screen. And I couldn't manage to get passed this error, besides downgrading to Windows 10.

So, I reversed the upgrade back to Windows 10 and everything is working just fine. The external monitor is seen, all display drivers are there as normal.

It is possible to get the Windows 11 update without getting into serious computer trouble?

I also don't want to spend hours figuring out what to do. I think an update should just work.

For now, I have blocked Windows 11 from installing, because I don't want to spend my time on fixing unneccessary computer crashes on a normally perfectly fine working high quality laptop.

But maybe Microsoft has ways to (future) Windows 11 updated that work just like they are supposed to do?

    My system:

    • Processor: Intel Core i7 Octa Core (8) 10875H 2.3GHz (5.1GHz) 16MB Cache
    • Graphics cards: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 with 8GB GDDR6
    • Intel(R) UHD Graphics
