Windows 10: Win 11 Explorer keeps resetting view!

Whenever I copy and paste within the right hand pane of explorer, the view changes back to my default PC view with all drives closed, meaning I have to keep opening the folder structure each time.This also happens if I try to switch between two open explorer windows: very frustrating: never happened in Win 10.Is this another suppose improvement that severely reduces productivity or just another bug I have to live with until I can find a working alternative?

I have a software that fixes user32dll and hhctrl.ocx errors. after the fix, the pages open normally,but after I open ie 11 a few times I get the same problems. I reset ie a few times,it worked for awhile but its back to the same problems again. The ie
troubleshooter did not help either.
