Windows 10: Win 11 Explorer search is massively incapable

Hello,No surprise that I'm having trouble with Explorer on Win 11, many others are too. I'd like to ask if anyone knows if MS is trying to do anything about this or what the underlying problems are. I've tried all the suggestions I can find on the web but nothing makes any difference. Turned indexed off, no change, back on, no change. chkdsk /f, dism, sfc /scannow, etc., all nothing.What's bugging me now is that I have folders with, say 10K image files in them. Half have the word "FIXED" in the filenames, the other half "MOVED". I want to put the files in separate folders. I put "MOVED" in the

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.

UNUSABLE IE with massive page corruption, using chrome currently

One of the possible reasons why this issue occurs is due to a corrupted Internet Explorer installed on your device. As an initial troubleshooting, we suggest that you turn off the Internet Explorer 11 features. To do this, follow these steps:

• Type in search Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
• On the right side, click Turn Windows features on or off.
• Look for Internet Explorer 11 then uncheck it.
• Click OK then it will ask you to restart your PC.
• Click Restart now to apply changes.

Once done, repeat the steps provided above, and this time, check the
Internet Explorer 11 to enable its feature.
