Windows 10: Win 11 Intel Core i5-6200U 2.30 GHz

AfternoonI am wondering why the above noted processor is not supported.The Lenovo laptop meets all other requirements. It has TPM 2.0 active. Also, all the other requirements from the PC Health check were met.ThanksBob

BATTERY PROBLEM

my laptop is 2 years old, it's an HP intel(R) Core(TM)i5-6200U CPU@ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz

 

2 cores

states it is a 4 core cpu.

Does win10 task manager or other software like cpuid's hardware monitor show 4 or 2 cores ?

The cpu is not a hyper thread version, so do not think that is the issue.

Win10 should see all physical cores. logical cores and threads if hyper threading is enabled.

Amd fx and some of the apu versions can have this.
