Windows 10: Win 11 mail issue

I have an HP PC preloaded with win 11. When I set up mail, I created an outlook account and added two2 existing bellsouth.net accounts. The outlook incoming mail is displayed in the in-box. For the two2 bellsouth.net accounts, incoming mail goes immediately to the Deleted Items folder. Is there a fix for that? I tried updating the mail app and repairing it. I have NOT re-set or uninstalled and reinstalled.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Thanks for the suggestions! I must say that I've used the same ATT server and Thunderbird for all my mail for a long time. The concept of switching over seems daunting. Might you elaborate simply on the two step verification. Old dog and new ways kinda issue!!!

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
