    Win 11 - Making It Behave


    After days of fiddling with this I might be getting somewhere. I found a Registry hack* to put the File Explorer requisites where they are in Win 10 seems that this Registry is based on Win 10. and "Block" in the right place effects a change. The Taskbar is now more like it should look; thanks to a little hack* I was able to put a useful icon for the "This pc" on the Taskbar. As there doesn't seem to be a way to Customise Windows Media Player anymore, I'm using the new Player. Customising this reminds me of when I was composing music - sliders with db ratings! Personal Computing is moving

    Win 11 compat app

    Both your CPU and graphics card should be ok- your CPU is on the list:
    Windows 11 CPU List Released | WePC

    and your graphics card is new enough to support DirectX 12.

    These requirements are set by the installer of Win 11. Detailed specs for Win 11 have been released by MS and are given in other such threads here and on elevenforum, but may change slightly before official release.
