Windows 10: Win 11 Media Player greyed out; not available what worked for me

I'm definitely not a computer wizard of any type...just sharing how I solved the greyed out "next" button in the new win media player. The solution might be obvious to savvy users but I figured there are likely others like me that would appreciate the share.... Since upgrading to Win 11, I've had a problem viewing sd card videos from my game cameras.I was unable to click on the "next" button as in the earlier version of Media Player. Seems you need to select all the files before you can activate the "Next" or "Previous" buttons. I've attempted to upload a screenshot for clarity but, in

For us to isolate the issue further, we’d like to know the following:

• What is the version of your Windows Media Player?
• Did you get any error message? If yes, kindly specify.

In the meantime, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the
Windows Media player. Here are the steps how to:

• Press Win button + R on your keyboard.
• In the text box, type Control.
• On the left pane, click Turn Windows features on or off option to see Windows Features window.
• Expand Media Feature list, then uncheck Windows Media Player box. It will give a prompt message;
  this will also turn of Windows Media Center click yes as you will need
  to reinstall it after.
• Reboot PC.
• You need to reinstall Windows Media Player. Open Windows Features, tick the Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center, then install it from there.

hi , i have just installed win 11 (Educational version) , and after that found that there is no media player as usual , so how could i download the offiicial WIN 11 media player
