Windows 10: Win 11 - No floating keyboard anymore?

Hi, I'm seeing quite a few people frustrated that the full size on-screen keyboard can no longer be detached. When you do detach it, it changes to the mobile version, which is not useful.Most of the time it's blocking the content I am editing and it hides the taskbar. It's become counterintuitive and significantly decreases productivity. Any chance there is a consideration to make it detachable again?

Good day developers... Can you make/add an option of a Mini Alphanumeric keyboard just like a floating window of mini QWERTY keyboard,

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard - Missing dongle

I want to use a the keyboard I had stored away in a box, with Win 10.

Needless to say, the USB dongle is not there anymore.

The tool from Mouse and Keyboard Center 11 lists a mouse (a Microsoft model), but not keyboard.

Is the keyboard good for recycling at this point?

How to disable the floating keyboard?

I've come up with a partial solution. When interacting with only one app (i.e. Desktop) in WMR, I can keep the input directed to the desktop instead of the headset. This restricts the mouse to the desktop, which is the biggest down-side to this approach.
The other downside is that I will have to endure a smaller floating notice constantly reminding me that the "Input is currently being directed to the Desktop and not the Head Mounted Display. Pres Win+Y to switch it back." But at least the giant keyboard
assault has ceased. Any other thoughts?
