Windows 10: Win 11 No WiFi adapter

Hi,I installed Win 11 Home and there is no WiFi adapter listed at all. I used to have Win 10 before and WiFi worked normally. It was cleaned installation, not update.I only have Ethernet in Network adapters. No WiFi adapter that I can enable.I have Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro motherboard and AMD Ryzen. I tried to disable ethernet, update driver, reinstall driver, reset router, network reset in Advanced Network settings, troubleshoot network adapters and nothing worked.I even tried Terminal commands:netsh int ip resetnetsh advfirewall resetnetsh winsock resetipconfig /flushdnsipconfig /releaseipco

WiFi Adapter question

To be honest, I keep losing my wifi connection and Im almost positive its not due to my internet connection or Router or anything like that. VERY often, everyday, all day it keeps happening. The troubleshooter always resolves it by "reset wifi-adapter" (I believe this is the step it takes that resolves the problem) before it happens again anyways.

Its driving me nuts !

Most time when it suddenly goes out (the connection) all the networks that should be in "show available networks" or all but the one I was connected to, disappear. I run the troubleshooter and it ends in resetting the wifi adapter. And it works. 10 minutes later, it happens again. Im trying to pin down the problem here.

Wifi Adapter

Here are several methods:

• Look in the user guide - see if 5 GHz WiFi is mentioned.
• Find that model on the manufacturer's website - see if the manufacturer advertises 5 GHz capability.
• Look for independent reviews of your model - the reviewer will certainly mention if the adapter supports 5 GHz

If none of those provide the answer, I can suggest many more ways to find out.

 

WiFi adapter disables itself

Sorry, but that does not solve the problem. Here's the condition, any suggestions?

Asus and HP laptops upgraded to Win 10 August 2015, both using anniversary edition version 1607, 64 bit, installed on 8-24-16. All of the fixes suggest have been tried and do not work. A/V is Norton Security.

• WiFi adapter disables itself and will not allow it to be re-enabled. Troubleshoot will not fix and restart is required.
  But Restart hangs and takes 30+ min. (90 min. 1-8) to complete or a forced shutdown by physically turning off the PC is needed to resolve.
  Can cause Edge to fail to find web pages after restart.
  • Asus last occurred: 12-25-16, 12-14, numerous dates since August 2015.
    Happened occasionally while on Win 8.1
  • HP last occurred: 1-8, 1-6, 1-1, 12-27-16, 12-14, numerous dates since August 2015. Never happened while on Win 7.
