Windows 10: Win 11 Outlook installed app. Not able to pin email. Pin icon missing.

I know about ensuring sort by date needs selected. All the other methods are available. No pin. We use 365 Business Premium. No matter what I cannot get the pin to appear when hovering over the email. I checked, it is there in the web version of Outlook. No update available

To pin an app back to your Start screen, kindly follow these steps:

Go to your App list.

Look for the app.

Tap and hold the app, and tap "Pin to

start".

Go back to your Start Screen, swipe at the bottom part and you will see there the icon of the apps that you just pinned.

if it didn't help then follow these:

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.

Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.

Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.

Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.

Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.

Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

I added a third step to the first suggestion, which worked for me:

1. Choose start> All apps,

2. Scroll to the application you want to pin, right click and then click
Pin to taskbar.

3. When the desired icon tile appears in the desktop box, left click on it and drag it into the task bar.

 

Pin to Start option missing, unable to retrieve deleted tile

I have several email accounts connected to my Nokia Lumia 900. The original account is the Windows Live account (@MSN.com) that I first used to login to the phone, a Yahoo account and 4 Gmail accounts. All show tiles in the Emails + Accounts area, and
I can successfully access the email from those tiles in that area. Yesterday, I created a new Windows Live tile for my new email address (@Outlook.com), and I renamed the tile from Windows Live to "Outlook - JSC" to remind me which email address is going through
Outlook.com. Also, I successfully pinned "Outlook - JSC" to the start page on the phone. I was able to access the inbox and everything was good.

Later, as I was rearranging icons on the start page, I accidentally hit the pushpin on the "Outlook - JSC" tile and the tile disappeared (normal). When I went back into Email + Accounts to press-and-hold on the "Outlook - JSC" tile expecting to see the "Pin
to Start" option to place the tile back on the start page, the "Pin to Start" menu option was missing. The option menu shows "Sync / Delete / " with the third option just being plain white blank space, right where "Pin to Start" might be shown but isn't.
When i checked on the other email accounts expecting to see the menu option "Pin to Start" grayed out, I noticed that none of the email accounts show it. On each one the menu shows "Sync / Delete / ". I am able to see "Pin to Start" on icons in other
apps, just not email accounts.

Also, when I flick to the right from the start page, right where all the installed programs and accounts are listed, the expected icon "Outlook - JSC" does not appear in the list of apps/accounts. The other email accounts appear there along with their "Pin
to Start" options grayed out, but "Outlook - JSC" is missing. It isn't under O nor is there a generic entry under W for, perhaps, Windows Live. I can only access "Outlook - JSC" through the Email + Accounts section.

I have already powered off-turned on the phone twice, and this doesn't seem to reset anything.

How do I get that particular email account icon to show up in my list of installed apps/accounts?

How do I get back the menu option "Pin to Start" on my email accounts?
