Windows 10: Win 11, pre-log-in screen question

In December 2023, I purchased a new computer. When I power on, a screen appears that has "Check out your 2023 xbox year in review" AND "your 2023 xbpx year in review has arrived". To be fair, if I click anywhere, those go away and the log-on field appears. None-the-less, I don't like those initial alerts/notifications/adds. How to I remove these? Thanks.

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

You mean this yeah? (It's called a 'Lock Screen' by the way)

• What picture appears?
• Are you saying you don't actually reach the 'log in' screen?
• That you are unable to either log in or access Windows 10?

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
