    Win 11 pro 24H2 won't connect to phone via usb


    I finally installed Win 11 24H2 yesterday. Previously, my android phone would connect via USB, and I could set USB preferences to file sharing and see the phone and access it in file explorer. Now it won't do that anymore- the phone will not switch to allow file transfer. Is this a known problem in 24H2, or am I missing something? I can access the photos on the phone via phone link, but when I tell it to save the photo it won't do it. I can open the photo in the photos app and then save it, but saving directly from photos doesn't work. What's even odder is after I fail to save directly from Ph

    Yes I am using a genuine apple cable and tried your method but still having issues . The device connects and all looks fine for a few minutes then it drops connection then reconnects and repeats this behaviour so I've gave up .see attached images.
