Win 11 pro, does not allow screen to turn off after 10 minutes. It never turns off even though it is set for 10 minutes. It seems to just ignore the setting. I have seen this discussed before, but not sure why this is not straight forward.

Hi, thank you. I could restart my surface pro 4 but still could not fix the Surface Pro 4 screen not turn on after sleep. I am still looking forward to hearing more suggestions to fix the black screen after sleep.

 

Screen set to turn off after 10 minutes turns off after 1 minute when locked.

Hi everyone,

I've set my screen to turn off after 10 minutes.

When I lock my screen (Win+L) it shows my Lock Screen picture but after just 1 minute it turns off.

By the way, It has not anything to do with the screen saver as I've tried to set its timeout to a greater value than 10 minutes wether turned on and off.

Should anyone know how to solve this, please, let me know.

Bluetooth Headset turns off every 10 minutes

We appreciate your prompt reply. Power management may affect your bluetooth devices after being idle, we suggest that you disable the option to allow the computer to turn off the device to save power. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click on Start, and select Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, click the arrow next to Bluetooth, and select the Bluetooth radio.
• Right-click the Bluetooth radio and select Properties.
• Select the Power Management tab, and see if there is a check next to
  Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
