Windows 10: Win 11 Pro: I updated to 22H2 but when I check it, still 21H2

I got the update to W11 22H2 via Settings > Windows Updateit downloaded it and installed it.But once I was back to the desktop, Launching WINVER, I got again 21H2If I go to Settings >WIndows Update > Update history, there is not any evidence of a 22H2 done or failed.Same story in Settings > Windows Update > Update history > uninstall updatesWhat's going on with the 22H2???

Currently running win 11 21h2 want to update to 22h2 can i install win 22h2 through a external hard drive 1 tb pc is unsupported and has 8g memory you ned a least 64g correct

 

Cannot update Windows 11 to build 22h2

Need more help than support web site offers. I would like to update a Windows Pro 21h2 to 22h2.

I've tried every suggestion at Troubleshoot problems updating Windows - Microsoft Support short of "Perfrom a clean installation of Windows 11." That list is comprehensive and includes everything I would have thought of on my own and then some. None of the troubleshooting suggestions solved the problem. The system in question is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n desktop running Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2.

In addition to all the steps at the above link, I've also tried installing by using Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Installation Assistant downloads and goes through the long installation process. But then very shortly after the reboot starts, it says, "Undoing changes" and boots back into the old build.

 

Win 11 Pro for Workstations Current Version

Hello,

My version of Win 11 Pro for Workstations is version 21H2 (build 22000.1761). I'm just wondering if there is a 22H2 version of Windows 11 Pro for Workstations as my laptop has Win 11 Pro v22H2 installed on it.
