Windows 10: Win 11 reset stuck at 62%

Hello! Just read this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/reset-stuck-at-62/953db7dd-d286-4f67-92ce-786bdfb48cd1 and i got the same issue, but mine is in the windows 11 update. What should I do? Follow the win 10 guide or take another line action? Thanks for the attention.

Hi,

Please help windows update stuck at "downloading upates 62%"! spent several hr searching online and can't find a solutions!

I own so many tablet laptop desktop with various OS at home (big family), including ios, osx, android, chrome, win 7, win 8, win10... etc! Never had one that is so buggy as windows 8 and now windows 10! It constants reboot and now this garbage can't even
update itself! I use to have all machines with windows OS (about 6 systems and 4 laptops), now it is down to just three(1 desktop, 1 laptop and latest edition of a window tablet. I am the only one in the family stupid enough to keep holding on to this hopeless
OS!!

Anyway, someone please help! I am about to throw the last 3 pieces of junk into the garbage can!!!!!!

P.S. After using OSX for about a yr, I totally understand why some people willing to pay more for the same hardware, Apple did such a great job with it's OS!

 

get stuck in 48% during installation win 11 (upgrade from win 10)

Thank you very much for responding.

I've done the steps you suggested.

starting from the windows update troubleshooter.

and then download the tools for resetting the windows update component along with the steps on the forum.

and try to check and install all updates available.

and the last one tried to install again with windows 11 update assistant and still stuck on a black screen (like restarting but didn't come back during the installation process) only the power button worked and when clicked again undoing changes.

still don't know the root of the problem

 

Windows 10 Installation stuck at 62%

I have decided to completely reset my laptop, clean it entirely of all personal files. However, my laptop has been stuck at “Installing features and drivers: Configuring settings 62%”. It isn’t frozen, but continues the laptop continues to restart despite
not seeming to make any actual progress. I’ve left it on for over two nights to no avail, and I’m not sure what to do.
