  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

  3. WIn + space stopped working for me...

While CTRL + win + Space or Shift + win + space do work. What is funny is that when i press win + space it works like I only pressed space.

Win button is working for sure, checked it

Languages list is showing when ctrl or shiift is additionally pressed

    Any suggestions?

  4. win 11 setup cannot tell if your pc has enough space to continue installation

We can't tell if your PC has enough space to continue installing Windows 10

These posts were over a year ago. I would have thought that the problem would be fixed by now, but apparently not.

I have been running Windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1) on my machine for quite a while.

Windows Upgrade Assistant told me I did not have the latest version and should update.

I followed the procedure, it (apparently) did the update and started Windows 10 Setup which then checked for updates.

It then checked that everything was ready at which point I got this same message.

"We can't tell if your PC has enough space to continue installing Windows 10. Try restarting Setup."

I have 72GB free space. I am not running Raid, though the motherboard is capable of it.

What does it need to check at this point that was not checked when the update was started?

If you cannot fix the problem, at least get this message changed to be more informative.

Say what space it thinks it needs, what space it thinks I have, what error code if any.

Also provide a button to restart the Setup, otherwise I can only go back to restarting the Upgrade !

Each time I get a failure, there is a tool WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab

available on the Windows 10 site that finds a problem with Windows 10 Update and fixes it, but

I do not know why it keeps getting broken.

I hope this might help to resolve the problem.
