Windows 10: Win 11 sign-in crededtials lost with thunderbolt dock connected.

Each time I plug in my eGPU and external monitor via my thunderbolt port on my laptop running Win 11 and start my system, I get an error on sign-in saying "Something happened and you PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN gain". I'm then forced through resetting my PIN. Also, my fingerprint login doesn't work and my laptop loses all of my fingerprint data. There is then no way to sign in to my laptop with a passowrd or any other method other than setting up my PIN again. If I don't have internet coverage, I can not do anything, because I can not sign into my laptop. I have tried to

I tried it with friend laptop with win 10 and it works perfectly, so no hardware issues

 

Lenovo thunderbolt 3 dock on windows 11

I've been trying to connect a thunderbolt 3 dock from Lenovo to my Windows 11 PC, without success. When I start up the PC with the dock connected, this error appears.





I can't find how to solve it. In the thunderbolt control center, the dock appears as connected, but cannot be approved.

Sometimes the dock works, when plugging it in after the PC has booted, but it never works when just having started the PC.

I tried many of the steps and didn't get any further sadly.

Some additional info about my setup. I have a motherboard by Gigabyte, the Designare z390. And I am specifically getting these errors connecting the thunderbolt dock. I tested all devices connected to the dock separately, which all are working fine.
