Windows 10: Win 11 taskbar not responding on start up.

Whenever I start my PC Win11, my taskbar is unresponsive. However, if I open say, a Word document from my desktop , then open Task Manager and close the Word document, my taskbar works fine. Any ideas?

Windows 11 Taskbar and other UI elements do not respond to mouse clicks.

I fresh installed Windows 11 about 48 hours ago. After updates and other software installations the taskbar became unclickable/usable. The steps laid out in fix the taskbar twice. However after a restart the taskbar returns in inoperable. After the latest restart, the steps laid out in the link above no longer work.

In addition to the taskbar, other elements that do not respond to mouse clicks are The BUY window that appears when purchasing a Movie through the Movies and TV app.

Lastly, the entire Screen Snip app is unclickable. There are more UI elements that are unclickable but I listed these items due to their easy communicability.

Thank you for sharing this to the Microsoft Community. We suggest that you follow these steps for possible solution:

• Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. If in tablet mode, hold your finger on the taskbar.
• Click on Settings.
• Toggle Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode to on. You can also do the same for tablet mode.

thread for more information.

Taskbar and Start are not Responding

Taskbar and Start are not responding, tried clean boot but problem has not been solved yet. Please help
